STUDENT CHOREOGRAPHY
Calling all emerging choreographers!
Present your work as a solo, duo or trio for adjudication only. Time limited to 1:30 - 2:15. Contenders will receive feedback from our judging panel, and comments will relate mostly to choreographic elements.
Choreographers must perform in the adjudicated number. Choreographers must also submit a 30-second video to the judging panel which explains their inspiration, and their process. The Student Choreography category will not be broken into age or skill level, and original works will not be in direct competition with one another. Choreographers will not receive a score, but they will receive an adjudicated ranking for their original work.
Content must be 100% original to the student choreographer, created without material or outside help from other artists or teachers in any way. The judges are expecting choreographers to be ethical and honest, and to stick to the rules. On your honor! We want to shine a spotlight on curious choreographers showcasing their genuine creativity!
